Granby is the second most populated city of the Eastern Townships. It is possible to go cycling or in-line skating on the three cycle paths L'Estriade, La Montérégiade and La Granbyenne. You can also see car races at the autodrome, go fishing on the Yamaska-Nord River, skating on the ice ring of lac Boivin and attend outdoor shows and concerts.
The Palace also welcomes the Festival international de la chanson de Granby. The parc national de la Yamaska, for its part, will charm you with its varied vegetation. The Réservoir Choinière is surrounded by forests and prairies, which serve as a refuge for several animal species, and when the time is clear, you can go kayaking, windsurfing or canoeing on the lake. You can also admire the Appalachian Mountains all around the lake. But the main attraction of the region is without any doubt the Granby Zoo and Amazoo water park, one of the most beautiful zoos of the province. In summer, the Amazoo water park invites you to try its wave pool (the largest in Quebec), its adventure river and its game basins.
Whether your are travelling for work or for fun, you won’t have any problem to find a hotel, motel or inn that will fit your needs.
