In this municipality known as the last one of the official circuit of the New-France Road, you can visit an old mill and walk along a pedestrian path that runs alongside the Jean Larose River up to the Racine Bridge. Just like in the neighbouring communities, the ancestral houses offer clues of a rich past carved out of the sweat and blood of the French settlers and of the courage of those men and women who were able to adapt to difficult living conditions. The municipality of Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges offers a large range of outdoor activities. You can try the trails along the Sainte-Anne-du-Nord River or play golf. Visit also the Interpretation and Outdoor Center Les Sept-Chutes and discover a spectacular natural environment. A hydro-electric power plant dating back to 1916 is also accessible to visitors, and the Sept-Chutes village, with its historic charm, will please more than one visitor. Here, you will also find an old forge, observation points, an interpretation centre, a gift shop as well as picnic and play areas.
