The Tourist Region of Chaudiere-Appalaches
Chaudière-Appalaches, delimited to the north by the St. Lawrence River, is located just in front of the septentrional Quebec region. Both are joined by the bridges of Québec and Pierre-Laporte, along with the Québec-Lévis ferry. From an administrative point of view, it consists of seven tourist sub-regions.

Chaudière-Appalaches: "A portrait of the whole Quebec"
Nowhere else in Quebec can you find as many opportunities to take contact with the different personalities reflecting Quebec's nature and culture.
Furthermore, the region has a territory of 15,000 km2. As a result, the fields and natural parks stretch as far as the eye can see.

The history of the region is best told by the national historical sites place of "Fort-numéro-un" of Levis, built at the end of the last century by the seigniorial estates of the French Regime (1608-1759, Lotbinière's Domaine Joly and Seigneurie des Aulnaies), and intended to protect Quebec City from an eventual American attack, the colonial village of the English Regime (1763-1867, Village des défricheurs de Saint-Prosper) and the historic site of Grosse-Ile.
The snow geese capital is without a doubt the town of Montmagny which also inhabits the "theatre des Migrations" (a show on human immigration to the Grosse-Ile and an impressive exposition on Snow Geese migration). Those seeking to know more about Beauce must visit the Marius-Barbeau museum.
"And all of nature's portrait"
The geographic diversity of the region allows outdoor fans to practice their favorite activities.
