On the shore of a majestic river, in the heart of the oldest city in North America, proudly stands the Hôtel le Port-Royal.
The Port-Royal drew its inspiration from the Latin origins of the city and the historic character of the surrounding centuries-old houses.
This luxurious ensemble of exclusive suites rests at the foot of the Fortifications of Québec in a building that used to be the Chinic hardware store warehouse. This old warehouse itself was erected in 1860 on the remnants of a hotel built in the second half of the 17th century by Charles Aubert de La Chesnaye. Today, most of the suites of the hotel have been integrated to the original walls of the building, giving every room this distinctive cachet reminding the visitor that 400 years of history guides him through his stay at the Hotel Port-Royal.
This refined concept meets the needs of today’s most demanding clientele. The first floor hosts a high-class restaurant, and a panoramic terrace will be added on the roof of the building, offering a superb view of the historic city and the river flowing in front of it. A meeting room will also be accessible to the customers.
The Port-Royal faces the Old Port of Quebec Marina, just in front of the renowned Laurie Raphaël restaurant. There is a private parking lot right in front of the hotel’s main entrance for the customers’ convenience and many packages are now available so that the visitors can fully enjoy the attractions this unique city has to offer.
