Our Inn “Auberge du Trappeur” is located at the entrance of La Mauricie National Park, on the site of Mokotakan, a place dedicated to the sharing of Native culture, and the Museum of Canadian Wildlife.
Nature lovers can experience a variety of outdoor activities: guided black bear watching, moose and beaver watching, canoeing, hiking trails in the summer, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing with trapping interpretation in the winter.
The accomodations range from our 10 renovated and comfortable rooms and 9 tipis on site, to a large cottage for groups and a refuge in the mountain.
Our restaurant offers a variety of wild meat specialties. Our country Inn also offers a comfortable lounge, where you can relax whenever you want. There is also a shop with great Native arts and crafts.
Welcome to the Inn “Auberge Refuge du Trappeur” and enjoy your stay !
